Product & UX Design

Product & UX design, grounded in psychology.

User experience and product interface design for SaaS founders and product teams. I draw on a psychology background and Google UX certification to design what users actually do — not just what they say. From research to Figma to handoff.

The approach

Design for how people think.

Product and UX design is about how a product feels to use — the flows, screens, and decisions that turn first-time users into loyal ones. I approach it from psychology: understanding the patterns behind real behaviour, then designing around them.

Psychology-informed

A psychology background means I design around how people actually think and behave — not guesses or passing trends.

Research-led

Interviews, usability testing, and analysis turn real user behaviour into clear, defensible design decisions.

Systems that scale

Reusable design systems keep your product consistent and fast to extend as it grows.

Built to hand off

Dev-ready Figma files and specs so your engineering team can build with no guesswork.

What I design

Who it's for

Built for product people.

Product and UX design is for teams building something with an interface — not just a marketing site.

  • SaaS founders shaping their first product
  • Startups refining an existing app
  • Product teams needing design-system structure
  • Founders with an idea that needs UX direction

How I work

Research, design, test, ship.

01

Research

Understand your users, goals, and the real problem through interviews and analysis.

02

Design

Wireframes to high-fidelity Figma, grounded in how users actually behave.

03

Test

Validate with usability testing and iterate before anything reaches your engineers.

04

Handoff

Dev-ready specs and a design system your team can build from.

Pricing

Project-based, custom pricing.

Every product and UX engagement is different, so pricing is always custom and project-based. After a free consultation I'll scope the work and send a fixed quote tailored to your project — no templates, no one-size-fits-all packages.

What shapes your quote

  • Scope — number of screens and flows
  • Research depth — interviews, testing, analysis
  • Design-system needs — new or extending one
  • Timeline — how fast you need it

Tell me about your product and I'll scope it on a free 30-minute call, then send a fixed quote within 24 hours.

Product & UX FAQ

Design questions.

Common questions about deliverables, research, process, and cost.

What's the difference between web design and UX design?

Web design covers visual styling, brand expression, and marketing pages. UX design covers how a product feels to use — flows, app screens, design systems. Most small business websites need web design only. SaaS founders and product teams typically need both. Zenith Design offers both as separate services.

What does a UX designer actually deliver?

On a typical product or UX project you'll get a mix of: user research and findings, user flows and wireframes, high-fidelity Figma designs, an interactive prototype, a reusable design system, and developer-ready handoff specs. The exact deliverables depend on your project's scope, which we set during the consultation.

Do you do user research?

Yes. Depending on scope I run user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis, then turn the findings into design decisions. My psychology background means I focus on what users actually do, not just what they say in a survey.

Do you build the product you design, or just design it?

I design products in Figma — interfaces, flows, design systems, and prototypes — and hand off dev-ready specs to your engineering team. For marketing websites I also build the site; for apps and products, I focus on the design and partner with your developers.

Will you work with my existing design system or brand?

Yes. I can extend an existing design system and brand, or build one from scratch if you don't have one yet.

How much does product or UX design cost?

Product and UX design is always project-based, so pricing is custom. After a free consultation I scope the work — research depth, number of screens and flows, design-system needs, and timeline — and send a fixed quote tailored to your project.

How long does a product or UX project take?

It depends on scope. A focused flow or feature can take a couple of weeks; a full product design with research, a design system, and usability testing runs longer. I'll give you a timeline alongside the quote after our consultation.
